Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Meet new friends!  Learn new skills!  Feel good about helping your community!  Opportunities available now:

Health and Safety Instructor

  • Become trained to teach various Red Cross health and safety courses to youth groups after school, on Saturdays, or during summer programs
     

  • Become an assistant for a Red Cross babysitting class
     

  • Wear the Scrubby Bear costume

Public Relations

  • Help format our electronic youth services newsletter
     

  • Design brochures and flyers for youth programs
     

  • Take pictures at community events

Community Outreach

  • Help spread the word about Red Cross programs at community health fairs, parades, and youth events
     

  • Facilitate a Red Cross club at your school
     

  • Assist in planning/implementing community service projects or school events
